1) If you're on diet,the best source of food,i mean,if we look through the pyramid,we've carbohydrate,protein,fiber,fat and oil,,,,so for the dieters out there,choose foods that rich in fiber.Here is the example,for breakfast,instead of eating white bread,choose whole grain bread because obviously it has much lower calories than the white bread.There are other facts,but overall,it's more good than white bread.
2) Go for fruits and vegetables!! This is a common things-to-have in diet menu.To be honest,i didn't eat a lots of fruits and veggies but i still eat them.If you dont like vegetables or fruits,dont push yourself to hard for it.If you can't go all the way up,do it step by step or baby steps.It's slower but it's better than nothing.I'm trying it too! =D Examples of fruits and veggies that i recommended based on my research are berries such as blueberries,strawberries,cranberries,,,(i dont know if there are any other berries,,LOL) apples,potatoes,asparagus,cucumbers,grapes,,=)
3) Eat or drink less sugar and salt.Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water or more per day.Reduce the sugar intake in your food and avoid junk foods and fast foods (this is difficult,i know,,,but by doing it step by step,i'm sure you can do it!)
4) Avoid oily foods as much as you can! You can still have it but in a small amount of it!
5) If you're hungry,you can drink a glass of water,or if your throat is so "bored" with water,,,then you can have snacks but remind you,not all snacks you can eat,choose it carefully,choose below than 200 calories and more great if you choose high-fibre snacks! Go Fibre!
6) Exercise! If you talking about diet or weight loss,there's no way you can run away from EXERCISE! This is one of your best friend from now on.At least do it 3 times per week for about 20 - 30 minutes or if you want to lose more calories do it for about 45 to one hour.
7) The best exercise for the staters is walking.That is the basic but if you think you can do more than that,then you might want to choose something more vigorous or high - intensity workout.You can search it on youtube channel where you can find many on high - intensity workouts.You can also do lunges,star jump,skipping,and jogging if you want.Whatever it is,you know what suite you the most and then start it!
8) Sometimes,you will get bored with the foods that you eat everyday.So,here the bonus! You can have a cheat day where you can eat whatever foods that you want! But! there's a but! Do not eat too MUCH!! Please still mind about the calories...
9) Avoid eating after 8 or 9 p.m,,,,ok,this is the tips that what the most people do when they want to loss weight.It's a typical one.
10) When you want to buy foods,please read the nutritional facts that have been provided for the consumer.
11) Don't give up!! Keep your motivational level high! Remind yourself of what is your goal! and confident that you can! and always seek guidances from HIM....
12) If you want to eat diet supplement,you can eat it,but beware! Make sure it doesn't have any complications or things that effect your health! Please meet the doctor first if you're not sure with it.

It's nice to see in your tips that you're not banning certain foods outright . Sure, it's important to avoid really unhealthy food during a diet, but less is better than more or none. You might begin craving for your banned food and all, which might end up bad if you plan on doing some weight loss. Exercise is important to your diet as well, since having a healthy body would work well with a good diet!
